Day 1
Arrival in Arusha – Tulia Hotel
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a Gardenia Safaris representative and transferred to Tulia Boutique Hotel in Arusha. Nestled at the foot of Mount Meru, Arusha is Tanzania’s safari capital and a vibrant gateway to the northern circuit. Tulia Hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere with comfortable rooms, a garden lounge, and great local cuisine—ideal for unwinding after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore Arusha town, visit a local market, or enjoy a relaxing dinner at the hotel. Your guide will meet you for a short safari briefing, answer your questions, and prepare you for the adventure ahead. Enjoy a restful night, surrounded by the serenity of Arusha, before setting off into the wild landscapes of Tanzania the next morning
Day 2
Tarangire National Park – Overnight at Migombani Campsite, Mto wa Mbu
After an early breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, about two hours from Arusha. Famous for its ancient baobab trees, dramatic scenery, and dense elephant populations, Tarangire is a hidden gem with a truly wild atmosphere. Keep your eyes open for lions, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and over 500 bird species. You’ll enjoy a scenic picnic lunch inside the park with sweeping views of the savannah and the Tarangire River, a lifeline for wildlife during the dry season.
