Day 1
Arrival – Kilimanjaro International Airport to Arusha (Overnight: Forest Hill Hotel or Planet Lodge)
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by your safari guide and driven to Arusha, a green and lively gateway city nestled beneath Mount Meru. Arusha provides a peaceful yet vibrant starting point for your safari, with surrounding views of coffee farms and volcanic hills. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short visit to a local craft market or cultural center. Your overnight stay will be at Forest Hill Hotel or Planet Lodge, both offering cozy, comfortable rooms, lush gardens, and warm service. These midrange lodges blend traditional African design with modern amenities—perfect for a restful night before beginning your wildlife adventure. Enjoy a hearty dinner and relax in the tranquility of Arusha.
Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park (Overnight: Burunge Tented Lodge or Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge)
Depart after breakfast and head south to Tarangire National Park, known for its dramatic landscape and massive elephant herds. The park features ancient baobab trees, rolling savannah, and the life-giving Tarangire River that attracts an abundance of wildlife—lions, leopards, giraffes, and over 500 bird species. A picnic lunch will be served within the park, allowing for maximum time on game drives. With fewer visitors than other parks, Tarangire provides a more exclusive safari feel. In the late afternoon, you'll drive toward your accommodation. You’ll stay either at Burunge Tented Lodge, which overlooks Lake Burunge and offers beautiful sunset views, or Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge, nestled in a coffee plantation near Karatu. Day 3

After breakfast, you’ll travel through scenic highlands and traditional Maasai villages to reach the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Day 5
Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park
This day is dedicated to an extensive game drive across the Serengeti, particularly focusing on the Western Corridor—a key route of the Great Migration from May to July. You'll follow riverine forests and vast grasslands that attract predators such as lions and crocodiles waiting at the Grumeti River. This region offers dramatic wildlife action, especially when wildebeest cross the river. With your experienced guide, track animal movements and visit key watering holes or kopjes (rocky outcrops) for excellent photography. Break midday for a picnic lunch in the bush, then continue exploring until evening.
