Day 1
Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your Gardenia African Safaris guide. After a brief introduction and safari orientation, transfer to your family-friendly lodge— Planet Lodge—nestled in the peaceful outskirts of Arusha. These lodges offer spacious rooms and tranquil gardens, perfect for families to relax and refresh after a long flight. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a stroll around the property, swim in the pool, or simply rest as the excitement for your upcoming safari builds. A delicious dinner is served at the lodge’s restaurant, and your guide will brief you on the adventure ahead. Day 2
Tarangire National Park – Game Drive
After breakfast, set off for Tarangire National Park, a scenic reserve known for its massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Ngorongoro Crater – Flight to Zanzibar

If desired, Gardenia African Safaris can help arrange excursions, such as a spice farm visit, dhow sailing, or snorkeling adventures. Enjoy a fresh seafood lunch and perhaps a swim in the resort pool before ending the day with a beautiful island sunset and a delicious dinner.
