  • Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your private driver-guide will meet your family.

  • Transfer to your comfortable midrange lodge in Arusha, a green city at the base of Mount Meru.

  • Rest & relax at the lodge. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy a swim, garden walk, or short city tour (optional).

  • Overnight: African View Lodge or Arusha Planet Lodge

  • Drive time: 1–1.5 hours from airport

  • Meals: Dinner

 

  • Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5–3 hours).

  • Known for huge elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and beautiful savannah.

  • Enjoy a family-friendly game drive, spotting giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and more.

  • Picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint, followed by more wildlife watching.

  • Kids can learn to use binoculars or safari checklists for animals.

  • Overnight: Sangaiwe Tented Lodge

  • Drive time: ~3 hours

  • After breakfast, begin the journey back to Arusha.
