Arusha National Park Walking Safari
Arusha National Park is one of Tanzania’s smallest park and it is an ideal destination to enjoy your safari on the northern circuit with incredible flora and fauna present in this area.
One of the ways to enjoy the beauty of this park by doing a walking safari whereby you will be accompanied by an armed ranger, starting from the momella gate where you will make your way through the various forests and savannah habitats, observing wildlife from a safe distance and at a different perspective than the normal safari with vehicles. The sounds of the African bush are best experienced especially by foot listening to the calls of the wild. Here you will be walking inside the bush with freely roaming animals in their natural habitat.
The best highlight on this walking safari is walking up to the top of Tululusia Hill, a former viewing point during Tanzania’s tribal wars, which has a panoramic view of the Arusha National Park.
You will be able to spot the black and white colubus monkey which is present in this park and what this park is famous for, giraffes and other animals like buffalos, zebras, warthogs, and blue monkeys. You will also have a great chance to spot different birds like starlings, trogons, turacos and thousands of migrating flamingos.
This activity takes approximately 2 hours.
