Day 1
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha, Tanzania
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), your professional safari guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha.

Arusha is Tanzania’s safari capital, surrounded by mountains and lush landscapes. After check-in, enjoy a welcome dinner as your guide briefs you about your upcoming Serengeti and Mara River adventure.
Day 2
Day 2: Arusha → Serengeti National Park (Central or North)
After breakfast, begin your journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with beautiful views along the way.

Arrive in Serengeti by midday and enjoy lunch at your lodge or picnic site.

Afternoon Game Drive

Explore the vast open plains of the Serengeti, known for the Big Five and the greatest wildlife densities in Africa. Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, and large herds of wildebeest.
Day 3
Day 3: Full Day at Mara River – Northern Serengeti
Today you drive or fly (depending on your package) to Northern Serengeti, home of the legendary Mara River.

Mara River Experience

Spend the day along the Mara River, Tanzania side, where dramatic river crossings take place during the Great Migration (July–October). Here you may witness:
- Wildebeest jumping into the crocodile-filled river
- Powerful river currents pushing massive herds
- Crocodiles waiting at strategic points
- Huge hippo families in the water
- Predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas nearby
This region is quieter and less crowded compared to Kenya, offering a more exclusive crossing experience.

Return to your camp/lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 4
Day 4: Serengeti → Arusha (Departure)
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast, then begin your game drive as you exit Serengeti—still spotting wildlife along the way.

Drive or fly back to Arusha (depending on your package).
Upon arrival, your guide will drop you at your hotel or at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight.
