Nestled on Sangaiwe Hill near the Sangaiwe Gate of Tarangire National Park, Sangaiwe Mbuyu Tented Lodge is the newest addition to the Bougainvillea Group and a sister property to Sangaiwe Tented Lodge, just a short distance away. Its prime location makes it the perfect base to embark on your Tarangire safari adventure or to unwind after a thrilling day of game viewing.

Located along the Western border of Tarangire National Park, the lodge offers breathtaking views of the park and Lake Burunge. Guests can enjoy luxury tented accommodation, delicious fresh food, and exceptional service, just less than a kilometre from the newly established Western Gate to the park – making your wildlife experience both convenient and unforgettable.

Spread across 30 hectares of hillside, the lodge is surrounded by majestic Baobab  (Mbuyu) trees and indigenous African hardwoods. The land, entrusted to us by the local community, has been carefully preserved in its natural state. The main building and tents are designed to blend harmoniously with the environment, with solar-heated water and landscaping featuring indigenous plants to conserve water.
