Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of around 2 hours through Maasai villages and open plains. Tarangire is known for its iconic baobab trees, dense elephant population, and dramatic seasonal river. You’ll enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch under the acacias. Wildlife sightings include giraffes, lions, buffalo, ostriches, and large groups of elephants cooling off near the riverbanks. The birdlife is also remarkable, with over 500 species recorded.
