This 8-day midrange honeymoon safari & Beach, takes you to the most famous and incredible parks whereby you will visit two parks which are Tarangire and Ngorongoro. In Tarangire, you will be astonished by the large African elephants as well as the huge and ancient baobab trees. Ngorongoro crater will be the icing on the cake and the best place to visit the endangered black rhinos. At the end of your safari, you will fly to Zanzibar. You will sleep in lodges with private showers.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT TO ARUSHA

Upon arrival at the airport in Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro international airport (JRO), you will be met and welcomed by your representative from Gardenia African Safaris who will give you a short brief before you drive to your lodgings in Arusha for overnight.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha around 7:30 AM, you’ll be picked up by your driver-guide and drive approximately 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire covers about 2,603 square kilometers and offers a diverse array of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, lions, and leopards. With over 500 bird species, it’s a birdwatcher’s paradise.

The name “Tarangire” comes from the Mbugwe tribe, meaning “river of warthogs.” The Tarangire River is crucial for both herbivores and carnivores, especially during the dry season.

Lunch will be served at a picnic site around noon, followed by an afternoon game drive. Later, you’ll exit the park and head to your lodge in Karatu for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER TO KARATU

After breakfast at your lodge in Karatu around 7:30 AM, you’ll drive about an hour to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This UNESCO World Heritage Site features a stunning 600-meter deep crater. You’ll stop at a viewpoint for a panoramic view before descending into the crater, home to approximately 25,000 mammals and over 500 bird species, including migratory flamingos.

Ngorongoro is one of the best places in East Africa to see endangered black rhinos, alongside zebras, wildebeests, lions, and more. With a diameter of about 20 kilometers, it’s easy to spot wildlife during your 5-6 hour exploration.

Lunch will be served at Ngoitoktok picnic site, a lovely spot near a hippo pool. After lunch, you’ll continue your game drive before ascending the crater and heading back to your Karatu accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

DAY 4: KARATU TO ARUSHA AIRPORT TO ZANZIBAR

Early morning after having breakfast, you will pack your luggage and get ready for your transfer to Arusha airport (ARK) to catch your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar airport (ZNZ), our private representative will meet you and drive straight to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5-7: FULL DAYS RELAXATION IN ZANZIBAR

Nungwi is located on the northern tip of Zanzibar with white sands and turquoise clear water where you can relax and enjoy your honeymoon stay. You can choose to stay at the hotel or go swimming at the ocean. If you would like to do different activities such as snorkeling, dolphin tour, safari blue, diving, we can arrange that for you or you can arrange at the hotel and you will be guided. The changes of the tides in Nungwi is different than other parts therefore it is calm.

You will spend a total of 4 nights in Nungwi.

DAY 8: ONWARDS TRAVEL TO THE NEXT DESTINATION
