This 7-day camping safari on the northern circuit of Tanzania, takes you to the most famous and incredible parks whereby you will visit all major parks which are Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro. In Tarangire, you will be astonished by the large African elephants as well as the huge and ancient baobab trees. Ngorogoro crater will be the icing on the cake and the best place to visit the endangered black rhinos, Serengeti National Park which has the largest concentration of wildlife and Lake Manyara National Park which is famous for the tree climbing lions and the birds’ population. You will sleep in tents set on the ground with the crew and you will also have a private chef who will prepare all your meals.
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT TO ARUSHA
Upon arrival at the airport in Arusha (ARK) or Kilimanjaro international airport (JRO), you will be met and welcomed by your representative from Gardenia African Safaris who will give you a short brief before you drive to your lodgings in Arusha for overnight.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha around 7:30-8:00 AM, your personal driver will take you on a 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, the park spans 2,603 square kilometers and hosts diverse wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, lions, and over 500 bird species. The Tarangire River provides essential water for wildlife, especially during the dry season. Enjoy a picnic lunch around noon, then continue your game drive before heading to your campsite in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3: MTO WA MBU TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at your lodge in Mto wa Mbu around 7:30-8:00 AM, you’ll depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Serengeti, known as “Seringiti” by the Maasai, means endless plains and spans approximately 14,763 square kilometers. It’s famous for its annual migration of over a million wildebeests and 250,000 zebras, making it one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The park hosts over 500 bird species and diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, and hippos. Its varied landscapes range from short grass plains to hills and forests. While the park can be visited year-round, the best time is during the dry season from June to October.
Lunch will be served inside the park and afterwards, proceed with game viewing until the evening where you will drive straight to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Early morning after having breakfast at your accommodation inside Serengeti, you will start an early morning game drive looking for the big cats and the active animals. Lunch will be served inside the park whereby after that you will proceed exploring the park and all that it has to offer from the landscape, wildlife and many more. In the evening, you will drive back to your camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
Early morning after having breakfast at your accommodation inside Serengeti, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro Conservation Area en-route to your campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Destination: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Accommodation: Simba campsite

DAY 6: NGORONGORO CRATER TO MTO WA MBU
After breakfast at your campsite, you’ll drive to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Before descending, you’ll stop at a viewpoint to admire the 600-meter-deep crater, home to about 25,000 mammals and over 500 bird species, including migratory flamingos. Ngorongoro is renowned for its endangered black rhinos, completing the Big Five. You may see zebras, wildebeests, lions, and more during your 5-6 hour exploration. Enjoy a packed lunch at the Ngoitoktok picnic site by the hippo pool before concluding your game drive and heading back to your accommodation in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK TO ARUSHA
After breakfast at your camp, you’ll depart for Lake Manyara National Park, about a one-hour drive. Known for its birdlife and tree-climbing lions, the park covers 325 square kilometers, with a mix of land and a shallow alkaline lake. You’ll find both migratory and native birds, including flamingos and pelicans, along with wildlife like elephants, giraffes, and zebras. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site before heading back to Arusha for a special farewell from Gardenia African Safaris. We can arrange an extra night in Arusha or transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
