DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT TO ARUSHA

Upon arrival at Arusha Airport (ARK) or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly welcomed by your Gardenia African Safaris representative. After a brief introduction, you will drive to your lodging in Arusha for an overnight stay.

DAY 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Begin your luxury Tanzania safari with breakfast in Arusha. Between 7:30 and 8:00 AM, drive 2.5 hours to Tarangire National Park, known for its elephants and baobab trees. The park hosts giraffes, zebras, buffalo, lions, and over 500 bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch and continue your game drive before heading to your luxury lodge in Karatu.

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA

On the final day of your luxury Tanzania safari, enjoy breakfast at your Karatu lodge before driving about an hour to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site 600 meters deep, home to 25,000 mammals and over 500 bird species, including endangered black rhinos. Have a packed lunch at Ngoitoktok picnic site by the hippo pool, then embark on a final game drive. After ascending the crater, return to Arusha. We can arrange an extra night or transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
